- What is an SMS?
An SMS is a text message, also called 'texto', that is send to mobile phones.
- How can I register to the medication reminder
service?
Registration can either be done through an 'on-line' form or through a 'paper form'.
You first need to check with your caregiver if the service is offered for the particular medicine that
has been prescribed to you or to your relative.
If the answer is YES, then your physician can either
directly register you or he can direct you to a specific Internet site.
If the answer is NO, you can
register, at your own expense, through the site www.m-pill.com,
by selecting your country and network.
- How can I cancel my registration
to the medication reminder service?
To cancel your registration, you will have the same options
as for the registration process.
If registration has been done through a ‘paper form’, then
ask your caregiver to delete your reminders.
If registration has been done through an ‘on-line’ form,
then you can delete yourself your reminders by activating the ‘MyM-PILL’
option from the Internet site you registered through. You will need to
indicate your mobile phone number and personal password. In case you have
forgotten your password, just ask for a new one by activating the ‘remember
my password’ option.
- How can I see my active
reminder calendar?
You can access and view your reminders by activating the
‘MyM-PILL’ module from the Internet site. You will need to indicate your
mobile phone number and personal password. In case you have forgotten
your password, you can easily ask for a new one by activating the ‘remember
my password’ option.
- How can I change my reminder
calendar?
Modification of a reminder calendar is based on a ‘delete
and replace’ principle. Therefore to change your reminder calendar, you
first need to delete the active reminder calendar that you want to change
(see question1) and add a new one (see question2).
- Will I be charged for
the medication reminder service?
Activation of the reminder service through the Internet
site will be at your
own cost and you will be charged for the received SMS reminders.
Activation of the reminder service through any other Internet
site should be free as SMS are being sponsored by the pharmaceutical companies
- Can I answer to a received SMS reminder?
In principle, No. Well you can always reply but nobody will ever get your reply.
So do not waste your time.
